About this place
Handmade entirely without added water or chemical seasonings, the signature butter chicken curry has long been factory's central dish in Shibuya 2-chome. Cooking the ingredients down concentrates their savoury depths into a rich, mild curry sauce, which can be tailored with extra cheese or adjusted portion sizes. At lunchtime, the kitchen also turns that curry into a limited-quantity curry udon, alongside hearty options such as beef stew and a butcher's gyoza set featuring savoury, self-sufficient dumplings that require no dipping sauce.
The expansive drinks selection easily bridges quick cafe visits and late-night drinks. Alongside drip coffee, milk drinks, spiced chai, and pots of black tea, the soft drinks run to fruit lassis and refreshing mocktails. The alcohol list brings together an international spread of craft brews, including Tokyo Blonde, Kagua, Scotland's BrewDog, and selections from Spain.
For a light bite over drinks, the menu includes standalone butcher's gyoza, a sampler of 5 sausage varieties, and pork tamago combining Spam and soft omelette. Those stopping in for a sweet treat can choose from French toast or honey toast topped with ice cream, as well as warming bowls of sweet zenzai.
Wi-Fi is available throughout, making the space welcoming for solo dining or working over a drink. Beyond indoor seating, the cafe provides terrace tables, welcomes pet dogs both inside and out, and accommodates bringing outside food. It works equally well for a satisfying midday meal or an easy pause with your preferred drink in hand.
